Belles Squad Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Saint Mary's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the ninth consecutive year.

Nearly 600 NCAA Division I, II, and III and NAIA collegiate women's soccer teams earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year. To earn the award, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year.

The team had a 3.26 cumulative grade point average for the 2013-14 academic year. Saint Mary's was one of six MIAA programs to receive the recognition for the past academic year, joining Alma, Calvin, Hope, Kalamazoo, and Olivet on the list.
