McLaughlin Named to All-MIAA Second Team

FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's senior midfielder Maggie McLaughlin was selected by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association head coaches as a Second Team All-MIAA honoree for the 2015 season.

A native of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, she played over 1,500 minutes during her senior season while starting in each of the team's 18 contests of the year. McLaughlin scored the team's lone goal at Olivet in mid-September, and she earned an assist on the final goal of a 4-1 victory against Trine five days later.

A two-year team captain, McLaughlin played in 76 games during her career. She scored nine goals and added nine assists for 27 career points. It is the first time in her career she has been named to an All-MIAA team.

It is the fifteenth consecutive season that at least one member of the Saint Mary's soccer team has been named to either the conference's first or second team.
