Four Belles Honored for Academic Success

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Four Saint Mary's softball players were among over 1,000 NCAA Division III softball student-athletes who earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2013-14 academic year.

Sarah Burke, Sarah Callis, Victoria Connelly, and Angela Dainelli were recognized by the NFCA as All-America Scholar-Athletes after maintaining a 3.50 grade point average or above for the academic year. It is the first year for Dainelli to be among the Scholar-Athlete listing. Burke and Callis each earned the distinction last year, and it is the third consecutive season for Connelly to be named an All-America Scholar-Athlete.

Over 4,600 student-athletes from across seven membership divisions earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2013-14 academic year.
