For 13 years, Stacie has served as the Director of Career Crossings. She is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Journalism and minor in Graphic Design, and a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University South Bend.

Angie has been at Saint Mary’s College since 2019, and a part of academic career counseling since 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Bethel College along with an Associates in Computer Science. A graduate of the St. Joseph County Leadership program, she brings 20+ years experience in HR/ staffing, sales and marketing and business partner relationship experience. Angie has a passion for helping others succeed both professionally and personally. “I empower students to make a difference in the world.”

Emily Penaflorida

Emily joined the Career Crossing Office in August 2022. She previously worked at Logan Center as a Registered Behavioral Technician and recently graduated from Bethel University with her bachelor's in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. She was born in South Bend, but was raised in the Philippines with her grandparents for her early childhood. She moved back to the South Bend/Mishawaka area when she was in preschool and has lived there ever since. She enjoys reading fantasy books and watching superhero movies. In her downtime Emily also loves cuddling with her puppy, Toast. 


Anita Achea '24

Akwaaba! Anita is a first-year grad student working on her Master's in Speech Pathology at Saint Mary's College. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and language Pathology and Audiology from the illustrious Southern University and A&M college. She graduated with full honors and a published thesis from the Dolores Margaret Richard Spikes Honors college. She brings 3+ experiences in HR/problem solving, advocacy, Recruitment and diversity. She is excited to meet and work with students pertaining to career coaching, graduate school application process, resume building, and other needs. It is her hope to organize fun and practical events to help guide her fellow Belles into the professional arena. She loves the gym and plays on the Sigma Lambda Pi sand volleyball team. When you see her strolling the halls of Regina or elsewhere on campus, feel free to ask her about any of these things!

Peyton Stearns

Peyton is a current student with a major in Marketing and a double minor in Studio Art and Fashion. In the Career Crossings Office, Peyton works both as an assistant in the office and on the social media pages. Creating posts, captions, and inspiring past, present, and future Belles is a goal of hers. Besides working for CCO, she is involved both on the Saint Mary’s campus and at Notre Dame. Peyton is on the ND/SMC Irish Dance Team as well as the Model United Nations, rock climbing club, and a member of the Observer Social Media Team. 


 

Mari Pritulsky '25

Mari is a sophomore studying Business Administration at Saint Mary’s along with Mandarin Chinese through dual-enrollment at Notre Dame. She enjoys being involved on campus and working in the office so that she can connect with other students. She is an active member of the Notre Dame Model United Nations Team as well as the Saint Mary’s Chinese Culture Club.
