Bachelor of Arts (BA), Major in Global Studies—GLST (27 hours)

The following 15 hours are required in addition to the Anthropology Concentration requirements (below).

  • ANTH 253 Survey I: Culture and Language 3 hours
  • ECON 251 Principles of Macroeconomics 3 hours
  • HIST 104 World Civilization II 3 hours
  • POSC 206 International Politics 3 hours
     or POSC 207 Comparative Politics 3 hours
  • GLST 495 Senior Seminar in Global Studies 3 hours

Students who complete the GLST Comprehensive Exam must also take:

  • GLST 364 Global Research and Discovery 3 hours
    (Or another methods course approved by the Department Chair)

Anthropology Concentration (12–14 hours)
