Minor in English as a Second Language and Bilingual/Bicultural Education

Focus your talents on a specialized area of education with a minor in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Bicultural Education. You will gain expertise in classroom approaches and applications for bilingual and bicultural students. With courses exploring topics in linguistics, learning theories, curriculum and assessment, and special considerations for the education of bilingual and bicultural students, you will develop your abilities as a practitioner to succeed in a variety of classroom settings. Graduates will be reflective educators who are able to analyze and grow from their teaching experiences throughout their professional careers.
