IN Employers Invited to Internship Fair, Registration Deadline Feb. 14

January 25, 2012 (Notre Dame, Ind.)—The Saint Mary's College Cross Currents Program invites Indiana companies and non-profits with internship opportunities to participate in an internship fair on campus next month. The Indiana Internship Expo for Saint Mary's students will be held on Tuesday, February 28 from 4-6 p.m. in the Student Center Lounge. Those companies and non-profits that would like to participate must register by Tuesday, February 14.

There is no fee for a booth, but a limited number of booths are available. No independent distributors, contractors, or vendors are permitted. Each booth consists of a six-foot table and two chairs. Employers unable to attend can arrange for a resume drop box. Internships, paid and unpaid, could be for the summer or fall of 2012 or the spring of 2013.

The Indiana Internship Expo is sponsored by the Cross Currents Program and funded by the Lilly Endowment’s Initiative to Promote Opportunities through Educational Collaborations. The Lilly grant calls for the College to develop programs to help retain students within Indiana after graduation. The Indiana Internship Expo is intended to introduce students to internship opportunities throughout the state with a range of employers from many different industries.
