Library Staff Builds Christmas Tree of Books (WNDU-TV) An 8-foot Christmas tree made entirely of bound periodicals is on display in the Cushwa-Leighton Library. It is made up of more than 1350 volumes. The tree took 18 hours for library staff to construct over a 6-day period. The staff had to disassemble it two times before they got it right. The “star” on top of the tree is the book titled “A Child Asks for a Star” written by former Saint Mary’s College President Sister M. Madeleva Wolff, CSC.
