Belles Fall in Cross Town Clash
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's golf team opened up the 2011 season with a tough match up against NAIA Bethel College on Saturday at the Warren Golf Course. The Pilots, who were ranked #5 in all of the NAIA in the final coaches poll of the spring of 2011, took a 318 to 348 decision over the Belles.

Belles Silence Bobcats for Tournament Title
DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Saint Mary's soccer team claimed their first tournament title since 2008 with a commanding 4-0 victory over Thiel (Pa.). The Belles left the Defiance Classic with a 2-0 victory and the championship on Saturday afternoon.

For the first time since the 2008-09 season, the Saint Mary's basketball team took down a ranked opponent at Angela Athletic Facility as the Belles defeated #25 (USA Today/ESPN Division III Coaches' Poll) Wheaton 66-63 on Tuesday evening.

Political Science Professor Provides Analysis on Election Night (Fox 2...
Political science professor Patrick Pierce provided election night analysis for the local Fox station. Pierce talked about Pete Buttigieg (D), the young mayoral elect of South Bend and what his leadership qualities could mean for the city. He also discussed the mayoral election in Mishawaka. Dave Wood (R) won that one and Pierce said it was a nod from the public that he's doing a good job.
