Richard Measell, assistant professor of economics, has watched the world's population soar in his lifetime. Since 1960 it gained a billion people nearly every 12 years. But he doesn’t think we should worry about the supply of natural resources or food or energy costs. "I sort of dismiss a lot of the doomsday projections that are out there," said Measell.
