“Get Inked” Offers Opportunity for Teens to Improve Creative Writi...
Saint Mary’s College Department of Education and the Michiana Writers’ Center is proud to sponsor “Get Inked,” a teen writing conference for students in grades 7–12 on Saturday, November 9. The conference will take place from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. in Madeleva Hall. The all-day event will cost $60 per student which includes lunch and an autographed book by author Patrick Flores-Scott.

Saint Mary’s College has named a new executive director of inclusion and equity. Interim President Nancy Nekvasil announced Redgina L. Hill, former Director of Diversity and Inclusion for Bethel University, as the new executive director today at the College’s Board of Trustees meeting. She will begin her role on October 28.

Science alum supports student research with legacy commitment
While Saint Mary’s is known for its liberal arts tradition, the College has also established a visionary science program centered on undergraduate research and professor mentorship. One biology alumna, Elaine Rowzee ’88, plans to support the sciences at Saint Mary’s with a bequest commitment.
