Potawatomi Zoo

Indiana's oldest zoological park located in South Bend. Home to over 400 animals, the zoo offers close-up experiences with bison, rhinos, sloths, and otters. Along with adorable animals to see and interact with, there are fun rides, including a carousel and a Zoo Train that takes guests around the zoo to see the many different exhibits.

Howard Park

Howard Park is located in Downtown South Bend. This iconic family-friendly community center hosts a variety of events year-round, including Zumba, outdoor concerts, and art markets. If you are feeling hungry, the Howard Park Public House is located at the center, which has great food, a welcoming outdoor patio, and a beautiful view of the South Bend skyline.

Ironworks Plaza

Downtown Mishawaka’s crown jewel, a hub for year-round activities. Ironworks has riverside walking paths in the summer and a fun ice rink in the winter. Ironworks Ice Rink is open during the winter with a 17,500-square foot ice ribbon and plaza that offers ice skating and unique ice activities. Accompanied with lively music and colorful changing lights for a memorable experience for all ages.

Four Winds Field

Home to our minor league baseball team, the South Bend Cubs, Four Winds Field seats around 5,000 guests. Individuals can buy tickets for the games and any festivals hosted on the field. They have themed game nights that include fireworks night, bring your dog to the game, autograph sessions, and spin-to-win games with gifts.

East Race Waterway

Located in Downtown South Bend, the East Race Waterway is a 2,000 foot long artificial whitewater course with a controllable water and wave level. In addition to whitewater rafting, they hold festivals and kayaking bookings. Experience the thrills of tackling the first man-made whitewater rafting course in the country.

Studebaker National Museum 

The museum is housed in a state-of-the-art, 55,000-square-foot facility devoted to sharing the story of the automotive and industrial history of South Bend and the greater region through the display and interpretation of Studebaker vehicles, as well as related industrial artifacts. The collection includes seven objects designated as “National Treasures,” including the carriage Abraham Lincoln rode to Ford’s Theatre the night of his assassination.
 

South Bend Chocolate Company

Get the inside scoop on how everyone’s favorite treat is made with factory and museum tours. Over 500 different handmade chocolates and sweets produced at this factory are available to purchase in their shop. Offers events, games, and contests for guests to participate in.
