Belles in Seventh at Woehnker Invitational


CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Saint Mary's swim team is currently in seventh place after the first day of the Wabash Woehnker Invitational.

Division III powers DePauw and Wheaton sit in first and second places, respectively, after the first eight events of the two-day event.

The Belles 800 free relay of Megan Price, Liz Palmer, Katie Donovan, and Audrey Dalrymple finished in fourth place in a time of 8:28.06. In the 1650 free, Megan Price was the top finisher for Saint Mary's. The senior was 13th with a time of 19:13.66. Liz Palmer finished 19th in the same event in 19:49.09.

Day two of the invitational will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
