Diane Fox

Through Diane's work, students come together to not only study, but to encourage and support each other.

Her Story

Diane Fox directs the Student Success Program at Saint Mary's. Diane never turns students away from her office and is always eager to give extra hours of her time to support them. Diane offers Skills Workshops for students to develop stronger academic skills. Diane supports students by exploring ways of studying more effectively, teaching note taking techniques, and encouraging students to see their professors outside the classroom.  Not only does Diane advocate for her students, but she teaches them to advocate for themselves. You might think Diane fosters our core value of learning more than anything, but from my observation she encourages community above all. Through her work with students, she celebrates a diverse and inclusive learning community that inspires her students to lean on each other and take risks. Not only does she support her students, but they learn to support each other.
