Indiana Private College Week, Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, offers high school students the opportunity to take a look at any of the state’s 31 private, non-profit colleges and universities, including Saint Mary’s College. Although visitors are welcome throughout the year, this concentrated week offers students an opportunity to visit multiple campuses in a short period of time. January 2, 2014 Hooping It up for Girls Club (South Bend Tribune) A dozen local girls recently traded their backpacks for hula hoops in an effort to raise money for Girls Club at St. Margaret’s House, a day center for women and children in South Bend. Sarah Hossfeld '15, a nursing major, created the summer club for girls ages 8-14, aimed at raising the girls’ self-esteem.
