Students Celebrate 9th Year for Dance Marathon On Saturday, April 5, more than 400 students will participate in the 9th annual Saint Mary’s College Dance Marathon. The 12-hour no sitting, no sleeping event has raised more than half a million dollars for Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health since students started holding the event. The community is invited to attend Dance Marathon, which will feature music, games, crafts, and other entertainment. Alumna Brings Drake University Choirs to Campus (In the Bend) Aimee Beckmann-Collier '75 will bring the Drake choir and chamber choir to campus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14 to sing at Church of Our Lady of Loretto. The College hosts the Drake visit every four years as part of Drake's choir tour of the Midwest. Beckmann-Collier received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the Saint Mary's Alumnae Association in 2010. Her choirs will sing with the Penn High School Women's Chorale and Mixed Choir. She is friends with Penn's choral director from graduate school.
