May 10, 2024 Tassels, Stoles, and Cords: The Regalia of the Avenue The Class of 2024 is making its way down the Avenue for the final time on May 18. With them come new friends and the start of their careers. Black-gown regalia, a cap, and a diploma in hand, they head out on the new adventure Saint Mary’s prepared them for. May 9, 2024 Sr. Rose Anne Schultz, CSC Mission Awards The Sr. Rose Anne Schultz, CSC Awards Ceremony honors the legacy of a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to embodying and promoting the mission and core values of Saint Mary's College. This year, 12 students received awards for their contributions to Saint Mary’s and their community. The awards include various work from healthcare to ministry and service. May 7, 2024 Senior Athletic Awards Reception On Sunday, May 5, 22 senior student-athletes took the stage to receive their graduation stoles at the Senior Athlete Awards Reception. During the awards reception, GPAs, all academic awards, and majors were celebrated. Special awards were given to seniors and others who stood out for their contributions to their sport. April 30, 2024 Strengthening Our Bonds Saint Mary’s is a community of learners. In this month's letter, President Conboy continues her commitment to a high standard of honest discourse, and shares her hope that in learning from each other's differences, our bonds will grow stronger. April 30, 2024 Chimes Publishes First Multilingual Journal The first multilingual edition of student literary magazine Chimes arrived on campus this spring, a manifestation of the editors' belief that stories told in translation have the power to build greater community. Co-editors Danielle Cruz '25 and Julie Sims '25 discussed the creation of the new submission guidelines that made space for more diverse voices in this year's publication. April 26, 2024 How Saint Mary’s Redefines Engineering For the past three years, Natalia Luna ’24 and Alexandra Castronovo ’24 have taken part in a demanding schedule of classes split between Saint Mary’s and Notre Dame; their bicycles always nearby. April 25, 2024 Eight Alumnae Return to Perform in Spring Dance Concert The love of dance and their alma mater brought eight alumnae back to campus in March to choreograph a piece to perform in the dance program’s spring concert. Alison Bauer ’07, Natale Cabrera ’97, Jaden Daher ’23, Margaret Davis ’17, Caroline Kappel ’97, Elisabeth Lasecki ’21, Elyse Paul ’20, and Elizabeth Quaye ’17 joined on campus for an intensive weekend to relive their undergraduate days as dance minors in the studio and work together to choreograph and learn a piece to perform in April. April 12, 2024 Eva Cavadini ’12 Directs Anne of Green Gables The Musical at Saint M... Eva Cavadini ’12 returns to Saint Mary’s College as the director of the theatre program’s production of Anne of Green Gables The Musical. Based on L.M. Montgomery's timeless classic, the production follows the misadventures of a wildly independent orphan, Anne, with fiery red hair and a temper to match.
