Halloween Magic Show to Prove Hypothesis that Science is Anything But ...
It’s no trick. Science is a treat! Students in the chemistry club at Saint Mary’s are prepared to prove this hypothesis at the second annual Halloween Chemistry Magic Show. Grade and middle school-aged kids and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29 in Rice Commons of the Student Center.

Marne Austin, PhD, shares how much her Intro to Communication students grew – personally, academically and spiritually – through their relationships with Sisters of the Holy Cross during the fall semester. About 40 students were paired with sisters as part of a class assignment that focused on communication skills, relationship building and faith sharing.

“Henry V” to Be Performed by All-Female Cast (WNIT's Experience Mi...
The theater program presents Shakespeare’s “Henry V” at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Little Theatre. Directed by theater professor Mark Abram-Copenhaver, the play tells the story of King Henry V in 15th-century England and the war with France. Almost all of its roles are male characters, but the production features an all- female cast. Interviewed on WNIT's program "Experience Michiana" are actors Erin Moran '15 and Annemarie Loessberg '15.

Kristen Millar '15 and President Carol Ann Mooney left for Rome Sunday and met up yesterday with Grace Urankar '14 and Bishop Kevin Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. The group will deliver a very special gift to Pope Francis on Wednesday. The package contains 225 letters written by Millennial Catholic women from the U.S. It’s a Saint Mary's project known as Voices of Young Catholic Women. Saint Catherine Medal Awarded to Sarah Lipinski ’15
Saint Mary’s College President Carol Ann Mooney presented Sarah Lipinski ’15 of Canton, Mich. with the Saint Catherine Medal at Honors Convocation on Sunday, May 4. Each year Saint Mary’s College awards the medal to a sophomore or junior who demonstrates high standards of personal excellence and scholarship and contributes to the College community in the spirit of Christian leadership. The award commemorates Saint Catherine of Alexandria, the patron saint of scholars (especially women scholars). Kappa Gamma Pi, the National Catholic Honor Society, sponsors the award.
