Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced his company plans to start offering 30-minute deliveries via drone-like "octocopters," perhaps as soon as 2015. Fox 28 asked Karen McDonald '76, assistant vice president of Integrated Marketing Communications at Saint Mary's, for her views on whether this delivery concept is viable. January 1, 2013 Prom for Cancer Patients/Survivors Coming up (WNDU-TV) Devon Graham ’13, president of the Stand Up To Cancer Club, was interviewed on Saturday morning about the prom coming up this weekend. It’s a free event for local cancer patients and survivors of all ages on Saturday, March 2. Registration is required. The theme for the dance is “Don’t Stop Believin’: Dancing in Honor of Your Courage.” This is the second year for the prom. Radium Girls, a play set in New Jersey the 1920s, is based on the true story of young factory workers who begin a campaign for justice after being sickened by radium-laced paint on the job. It is a fast-moving theatrical ensemble piece about greed, wealth, the environment, science, and courage. Most of the changes are to the home page, which displays new features and supporting content. Enhancements will be made throughout the site in the future.
