Saint Mary's will be making their seventh overall appearance and fourth in-a-row at the NCAA Championships. January 2, 2012 2012 President's Medal Recipient At the 2012 Commencement, Saint Mary’s honored Susan Fitzgerald Rice ’61 with the President’s Medal, which is presented rarely and exclusively to those who have offered exceptional contributions to the life of the College and society. This is not the first time the College has honored her. Rice received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the Alumnae Association in 1986 and was named a Shannon Executive Scholar in 1998.
