Building Services Floater:  Saint Mary’s College seeks an individual in Building Services to be responsible for delivery and set up of necessary items for campus events and to help unload large shipments of materials.  Also responsible for cleaning assigned buildings and maintaining the departmental stockroom.  Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, the physical ability to climb ladders, lift and move heavy objects and furniture up to 100 lbs. and operate heavy cleaning equipment. Certified in fork lift driving a plus.  Must be able to work extended hours as needed.  Prefer prior custodial work experience.  


Security Department/On-call positions available as listed below:

On-Call Security Officer:  Saint Mary’s College seeks on-call Security Officers, officers are unarmed.  On-call means that the officer does not have regular, scheduled hours but works as needed, which averages 16-24 hours per month.  Must be willing to work afternoons, midnights and weekends, and be able to report for work at last second notice.  Must be physically capable of walking, driving and responding to emergencies in a timely manner and be capable of providing emergency first-aid assistance.  Also must be able to communicate well with people. Must not have a criminal record.  High school graduation or equivalent required.  

On-Call Dispatcher:  Saint Mary’s College seeks on-call dispatchers for our Security Department.  On-call means that the dispatcher does not have regular, scheduled hours but works as needed.  Must be willing to work afternoons, midnights and weekends, and be able to report for work at last second notice.  Responsibilities include coordinating and relaying requests for assistance from the College community and general public to patrolling Security Officers.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  

On-Call Escort Drivers:  Saint Mary’s College seeks an On-Call Escort Driver to work two or three days per week. Days needed may include Sundays thru Thursdays from dark to 2 a.m. and from dark to 4:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.  Responsibilities include driving students to various locations around campus.  Driver will work 5 – 10 days a month.  This position is mainly for the academic calendar year (Aug through May) with limited summer hours.  Must have a good driving record, no criminal record, strong interpersonal skills and a valid driver’s license.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  


Heavy Building Attendant:  Saint Mary’s College seeks full-time heavy building attendants in the Building Services Department on the day and night team. Work hours are: 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.  Qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent and a minimum of one year of custodial work experience.  Must be physically able to climb ladders, lift and move heavy objects and furniture (50-70 lbs.) and ability to operate cleaning equipment. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is important. Must be able to work alternate Saturday & Sunday's.
