“Pink Party Zumbathon” Hosted by Students' Stand Up to Cancer Club... Want to raise money for cancer research while getting in a workout? The Saint Mary’s College student club SMC Stands Up to Cancer will host its 3rd annual “Pink Party Zumbathon” on Saturday, November 1 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Angela Athletic Facility and will feature more than 20 local Zumba instructors who will take turns teaching. The public is invited to take part. Those attending are encouraged to wear pink and dance for this great cause. The opinions presented at the seminar will be hers and should not be taken as official commentary from the NIH. Board of Trustees Announces the Extension of President Carol Ann Moone... The Saint Mary’s College Board of Trustees has extended the contract of President Carol Ann Mooney to May 2016, with the possibility of further extension. Board Chair Mary L. Burke ’85 made the announcement today via an email to students, faculty, staff, and advisory councils. The original contract was set to expire in May 2014. Mooney recently signed the new contract. The news comes on the eve of the 8th anniversary of Mooney’s inauguration, which took place on January 15, 2005.
