WEI Hosts THRIVE Seminar Series on Asset/Wealth Building The Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) and 1st Source Bank will co-host a two-part THRIVE Seminar Series titled “Invest for Life” (Pt. 1) and “Women, Money, and Power” (Pt. 2) The first asset/wealth building workshop will be held on Thursday, September 26 and the second workshop will be held on Friday, October 25. Sonia Manzano, also known as "Maria" from Sesame Street, spoke at the sixth annual Multiethnic Commencement Celebration to honor the 51 multicultural members of the Class of 2013. Manzano related the challenges they have overcome to similar experiences in her own life. “But I think that the world they're going into is much more diverse and open about diversity. And the fact that they're going participate in society openly is going to make profound impact on the way we live and the way we see race relations."
