January 2, 2012 Sylvia Yacoub '15 Makes It to the Top 10 on "The Voice" (NBC) America voted to save Sylvia Yacoub '15, advancing her to the Top 10 singers on NBC's "The Voice." She and the others will compete on a live show on Monday, November 19 (8 p.m. Eastern) for a chance to advance to the elite round of eight. Yacoub is on pop singer Christina Aguilera's team. The sophomore, who is an intended political science and philosophy major, took off the fall semester from Saint Mary's to follow her dream to be a pop singer.
