Determining how to finance your education can be a daunting task. Our Financial Aid team is happy to answer your questions, walk you through the process, and celebrate with you when you become a Belle. Be assured that Saint Mary’s provides many forms of financial assistance:

  • Scholarships: There are six levels of academic achievement/merit-based scholarships at Saint Mary’s and all applicants to the College are considered. You do not need to repay these.
  • Grants: We award grants based on financial need. You do not need to repay these either.
  • Loans: Direct Stafford loans and Parent PLUS loans are common forms of aid. Typically you would begin to repay these six months after you graduate.
  • Employment: Many academic and administrative departments on campus offer hourly pay, which can offset your costs.

We have a robust listing of scholarships, grants, loans, and employment offerings on our Financial Aid pages. You can also call the Financial Aid Office at (574) 284-4557.
