Bias Garners All-MIAA Second Team Honor
ROYAL OAK, Mich. - Saint Mary's junior guard Shanlynn Bias was one of only 12 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball players to earn All-MIAA honors as voted on by league coaches on Monday.

Singles Play Lifts Belles Past Scots
EAST LANSING, Mich. - After trailing 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play, the Saint Mary's tennis team won four of six singles flights to claim a 5-4 MIAA win over Alma on Saturday afternoon.

Outstanding Graduating CAT Scholar Award
Katie Klinker '13 has successfully completed all 600 hours of service and will be “graduating” from the CAT Scholar Program. She is a Senior Elementary Education major who has a special heart for children for whom English is a new language. Katie has worked tirelessly in the CAT Program since 2010 as a teacher’s assistant and after school tutor at Coquillard Traditional School. In the summer of 2011, Katie helped facilitate our Summer School Program at McKinley Primary Center acting as a teacher. In addition to her work with children, Katie has also helped with Rebuilding Together, service events at Dismas House, 12 Days of Christmas, Bells for Belles, and the Pen Pal Program.
