Office of Residence Life
The Office of Residence Life strives to develop meaningful and personal communities within safe, comfortable and well-maintained residence halls. We engage students in exceptional living and learning experiences to foster a sense of belonging and social responsibility that complement the total educational experience and enhance student success.
In order to carry out this mission we believe in the following values:
We provide our students with opportunities to develop their leadership skills that will assist them with making confident decisions that will effectively impact, empower and influence the community to reach their full potential.
We treat each student as an individual with unique needs and concerns. We encourage students to ask questions, assist them with identifying resources and connections, trust their intuition through the decision making process and reflect on their experiences.
We take pride in building relationships by providing an inclusive and student centered environment through our individualized interactions allowing students to feel valued by and connected to the greater community.
We educate students on their responsibility to care for themselves and their community including holding others accountable, understanding the impact of their actions and seeking assistance when help is needed.
